Alice Anderson has authored 40 books since 1998. She is equally at home writing medical and business books, company histories, house histories, and inspirational books. She has been a guest on several radio and television programs, as well as the featured speaker for many groups. She is working on her first inspirational novel.
"A book can simply entertain, or it can educate, inspire, motivate and produce a desired result. That’s the kind I choose to write," Anderson says.
Alice, you sure know your Bible!
Mark Victor Hansen, founder and co-creator of the series Chicken Soup for the Soul.
There are, of course, thousands of businesses in Maine, and each of them has its own specialty, its own family legacy, its own story of trying so hard to succeed. These businesses are so much more than ledgers and profit reports and buildings; they're our history. One of the best parts of Alice's book is that these are not dry, academic histories...they're the flavors of our state.

It's been delightful to work with you! You captured the spirit of this company and condensed the essence of our 100-year history beautifully. Reading this has made my day!
